  I've worked with Goldmakers twice. Once they made perfect earrings for me out of pearls I already had at a very good price. The second time they fixed a ring of mine that was bent for free!

  I recently got married and the ring my husband gave me was his late grandmother's wedding ring from the 1960s. My immediate thought was to get it checked over and insured. My friend recommend going to Goldmakers. He they were legit. Well, I have to say I am extremely disappointed in this place. The customer service was absolutely terrible! Before I went in my mother-in-law gave me the original receipt. The woman that helped me actually said the information written down wasn't at all accurate. When I tried showing her my ring she wouldn't even look at it... Even though I was getting bothered by the whole thing I went ahead and asked about insuring it. She right off the bat said I had to leave my ring for TWO WEEKS. She said the paper work was a long process. I tried to say I didn't feel comfortable with that but she interrupted me and said well that's how they did things. Okay, I can understand that, however I was told that they could do it on the spot. Once I was fed up with the whole ordeal I decided to leave. Before I left I wanted to know if the manager was in. To my surprise she was the manager!! She gave me her card and when I walked out I immediately threw it out. I have absolutely NO interest in going to this jewelry shop again.
